ICON Multimedia implements its digital signage platform (DENEVA) at Ibiza Port (Spain). With this innovative solution, the Balearic Port Authority provides passengers with a more comfortable experience when visiting the beautiful island of Ibiza.

DENEVA offers port station users up-to-date and visually appealing information about schedules, arrivals and departures of ships, as well as important travel-related notices. Through strategically located screens in different areas of the port, passengers can instantly be aware of any changes in ship schedules, enabling them to efficiently plan their journey and avoid unnecessary delays. DENEVA ARRIVES IN THE CENTER OF MALAGA

ICON Multimedia’s Passenger Information System is now operational on the recently inaugurated extension of lines 1 and 2 of Metro Malaga. It has two new stations, Guadalmedina and Atarazanas, which reach the heart of the city. Thus, DENEVA announces, through the remote indicators located on the platforms of these lines, the destination and estimated arrival times of the next trains. A robust on-board system has also been implemented to provide information on the arrival and departure on board the train, routes and areas through which it is running.

This information channel means that Metro Malaga users can travel with complete confidence, especially on busy dates such as Easter Week. Focused on the user experience, it promotes mobility and connectivity, acting as a dissuasive information channel at the different exits of the stations in the center, and informing of any incident.

Deneva and Dahua collaboration to drive retail innovation at Eurohop 2023

DENEVA and Dahua present their recent integration at Euroshop with the aim of boosting the digitalization of the retail sector. The most prestigious international retail trade fair is the perfect stage to announce the alliance between the manufacturer Dahua Technology, well known in the security field, and the digital signage software manufacturer DENEVA.

In this strategy of expansion in the European market and its new business area focused on audiovisual solutions, the Chinese manufacturer incorporates DENEVA within the integrated players that have their new range of led screens. As an added value, this integration adds the analytical technology of Dahua surveillances cameras, which report valuable data for different application sectors.

This alliance allows us to offer a comprehensive solutions for broadcasting personalized advertising content, based on audience measurement, designing more effective campaigns based on gender, age, facial expressions, or the number of people present in a certain area, among other parameters. Advertising management through DENEVA reaches a higher level, providing brands with a comprehensive measurement of the impact on the content, and designing specific campaigns for different audience groups.

The solutions proposed by both manufacturers will be on display at the Dahua stand (Hall 7a, stand E11) at Euroshop, with runs until 2 March in Düsseldorf (Germany).

The Secretary of State for Telecommunications visits ICON Multimedia

The Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures, María González Veracruz, has visited the facilities of ICON Multimedia with the aim of getting closer to the business network in the ICT sector in the province. During her visit, she had the opportunity to talk with the three partners of the company to discover the work the company is doing to promote the Digital Transformation of different sectors through digital signage, and its different projects at international level.

María González praised the pioneering and cutting-edge initiatives in innovation that the company is carrying out, as well as being a source of attraction and retention of talent within the province.

DENEVA unveils new Digital Signage platform at ISE 2023

DENEVA will be present at ISE 2023 in Barcelona (31 January to 3 February) as a showcase for its renewed Digital Signage software. During the show, attendees will be able to discover all the new features of the digital experience platform for different industries and areas of use.

In Hall 6, and for the first time with its own space (6K725), DENEVA will show visitors to its stand the smart solutions based on its platform, which includes the lastest generation technologies, such as the integration of IoT devices (sensors, NFC, Lift & Learn and others), or the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence to digital signage for the creation of immersive experiences based on hyper-personalisation. Among other integrated functionalities, it will also be shown how the incorporation of facial recognition solutions help to interact with the audience much more effectively.

DENEVA’s international team of Digital Signage specialists will be available to visitors to the stand, giving live demos of the platform (prior registration), answering all questions about the new software interface that integrates a powerful Data Sourcers manager. This connects and automates data from external sources, allowing the user to interact with the information displayed in real time. Consolidation of large formats and spectacular creatives

Until now, there were few spectacular creatives that we could see, and almost all of them were linked to DOOH. Thanks to the rise of large format screens, they have come to stay indoors as well. They are the great allies of retailers that offer immersive experiences at the point of sale, linked to modernity, innovation, differentiation and originality.

New commemorative logo: ICON Multimedia’s 30th Anniversary

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, we present our new commemorative logo that reinforces the figure of 30 years and will be used in the various supports of the company during the next year 2023. The creation has been designed by Sofía Navarrete, a student of the Graphic Design Degree at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Valladolid (ESI) and winner of the logo design contest held among the students of the educational institution. An initiative that arises from the collaboration agreement that ICON Multimedia has with ESI, with the aim of involving students, and thus promote employability and attracting talent to the company.

The commemorative logo seeks to maintain the essence of ICON Multimedia and evidences the historical legacy and the constant advances towards digitalization. It reflects the brand identity using modern touches with red and incomplete shades that give the logo three-dimensional effects and link it to its sector while maintaining the corporate colors.

This contest is the kick-off of the activities to commemorate ICON Multimedia’s anniversary. The company plans to carry out several actions involving both its employees and customers, as well as the rest of Palencia’s citizens and collaborating institutions. All of them with a main thread: innovation. In the words of Enrique Hornos, CEO of ICON Multimedia: “2023 will be a year of celebration. We want it to be a proud look at the past, but claiming our constant commitment to add value to society, not only from a technological point of view, but also from other important aspects such as employability”.

The denevaDS version of ICON Multimedia’s web-based content management software for Digital Signage focuses on improved user experience and more efficient device management. It incorporates a new interface with responsive design available in different languages, much faster in programming and loading content.

ICON Multimedia has introduced all the advanced features of its predecessor version, Deneva.Cuatro; it also incorporates new functions aimed at simultaneously and centrally managing multiple complex digital signage circuit devices with high number of display points, as well as new third-party integrations, and greater scalability.

The new software interface integrates a powerful Data Sources manager that lets the user connect and automate data from external sources, allowing them to interact with the information displayed in real time. In addition, the new denevaDS is reinforced with the highest cybersecurity standards making the platform more robust and reliable.

“The main goal of this powerful update is to be able to offer the user a tool with greater operational flexibility and scalability, with a much more friendly design, which allows to streamline workflows and guarantees the technological evolution of each business,” says Juan Carlos Martín, General Sales Manager of DENEVA.

denevaDS also reinforces its data dashboards and metrics to help advertisers perform more in-depth analysis of content displayed based on hours viewed, or other audience demographics, among other parameters. In this way, it allows you to calculate in a more precise way, the efficiency ratios that have an impact on marketing strategies.

On-board systems, ICON Multimedia’s bet for InnoTrans 2022

ICON Multimedia will be at InnoTrans 2022 (Hall 22/Stand 710), the world’s largest trade fair focused on rail transport, held in Berlin, where it will show its DENEVA Digital Signage solution aimed at providing better mobility experiences for users in the sector. On this occasion, the software manufacturer will attend the event with a strong commitment to on-board passenger information communication systems for trams, metros and railways.

To realise this potential, DENEVA offers rail operators a comprehensive communication solution that, in an aggregated form, provides all the tools (including external data sources) to implement an on-board infotainment system. This includes centralised management of all the critical information passengers need, including up-to-date arrival forecasts, incident alerts, multimedia entertainment content, or real-time weather information for destinations.

In addition, DENEVA now goes further. The platform offers the possibility of exploitation of the system by third party companies, thus reducing infrastructure costs, and an improved return on investment. Its practical application allows, for example, the creation of new revenue channels to attract passengers to station shops and restaurants through promotions; or a possible partnership with surrounding hotels and leisure attractions to promote tourism and local destinations.
