DENEVA opens new office in México

DENEVA opens a new office in Mexico City. The new trade delegation has the aim to support our partners in Latin America, tackle new projects and provide personalized service and support to our current customers.

ICON Multimedia, the software manufacturer company, is already present in the mexican market with relevant projects such as BBVA Bancomer, Adidas, DENTIX or Mexico-Toluca intercity train, which are managed with DENEVA Digital Signage.

To tackle that challenge, ICON Multimedia has designated José Ramón Casado as new Regional Customer Manager for DENEVA in LATAM. He will also have the support of Francisco González, sales representative of digital signage premium brands for Latin America. “The DENEVA brand has begun to strategically position in this area thanks to the growing demand for projects and digital signage developments. In fact, we have already some references that makes necessary our physical presence there”, saids Enrique Hornos.

The DENEVA’s pilot start in Euskotren

ICON Multimedia has set up the first pilot of its Comprehensive Communication System, DENEVA, in the old town metro lines (Zazpikaleak) in Bilbao. The modernization of the new dynamic advertising formats is administered by COMUNITAC, whose contents management is carried out in a centralised and real time manner through the DENEVA platform.

This new technology will be introduced as a new communication channel whose displays allow advertising and travel tips displays, letting third-parties exploitation, as well as a more efficient management of alarms and notices. Besides, the digital circuit will integrate the Smart Cities data-entry, including FEVE and Bilbobus intermodal information, own or third-party social networks and cultural information of the city in several languages.

DENEVA brings a complete shopping experience to Toy Planet

Toy Planet, the Spanish toy stores, has chosen digital signage to create a new dimension of shopping experience in all of its establishments. DENEVA, the ICON Multimedia’s Digital Signage solution, helped Toy Planet to make the digital transition. The retail brand has trusted in DENEVA’s software to attract customers’ attention, save time in content management and reduce printing cost.

Toy Planet was looking for integrating digital signage in all its stores through a tool that will involve immediacy, efficiency, spectacularity and modernity. Besides this platform should be in line with its brand philosophy; it must also allow to reduce the “ecological footprint” that the traditional signage has and reduce costs.

The brand challenge was to introduce this technology in its offers and promotions management. Moreover, they have carried out the implementation and automatic distribution of this management tool in all its stores and the website. In this way they will launch impact messages and ads of the Toy Planet manufacturer brands (nowadays they are about the 80% of the products of its stores).

To achieve these objectives, Toy Planet relies on DENEVA Digital Signage solution for 400 screens that are distributed in more than 233 Spanish establishments.  The displays have an embedded SoC that reduce installation and maintenance time.

DENEVA allows the centralized content management of all viewing points. It also allows the easily content segmentation in order to launch offers tagged by stores, location or in relation to the stock. Thanks to DENEVA, Toy Planet is able to monitor the content generated and create reports for each advertiser to know the campaign status in every single moment.

Viewing points are located both outside and inside of all of its stores. The location of vertical large-format displays at the shops windows reminds us the traditional signage looks. It is used to capture audience’s attention and try to attract them to enter in. Those panels inside allows us to enjoy a unique and different shopping experience. Its locations makes them different. The huge visual appeal of their displays improves the engagement and customer loyalty, due to the possibility to updated the content inmmediately, especially in the areas specifically destined for payment. 

DENEVA shows its Digital Signage solutions for smart cities at ISE 2019

In this new edition of ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) celebrated in Amsterdam from 5th to 8th, February, DENEVA has opted for digital signage solutions to turn cities more efficient, interconnected and environmentally conscious. Our Digital Signage solution for Smart cities allows citizen to be connected and to access to relevant information for its daily life.

DENEVA manage centralized information and it is able to connect to other technologies to provide information about bus and train schedules in real time, weather updates, emergency notifications and also, live wayfinding and relevant advertising.

The combination between smart screens and smart data makes possible a powerful platform to broadcast effective messages for large audiences. In addition, it is able to customize messages to smaller target groups o city areas.

In the edition, DENEVA goes to ISE thanks to its partners Philips Professional Displays Solutions (Philips PDS) and Vestel.  

DENEVA Passenger Information System installed on the new line 3 of Chile’s Santiago Metro

DENEVA, the Digital Signage system of ICON Multimedia focus on transportation industry, continues consolidating itself as a communication reference in Chile’s Santiago Metro. After its start-up on line 6 at the end of 2017, the president Sebastián Piñera has recently opened up line 3, which connects Quilicura with La Reina in approximately 30 minutes.

The project, set up together with SICE, includes 18 “Smart Stations”. In them, DENEVA platform allows to infomr in a useful, clear and appropiate way about possible operational indicents such as delays or interruptions in the trains circulation. Futhermore, the displays transmit publicity and educative campaigns oriented to the more of 2.7 millions daily users of these metro lines. These messages take advantage of its high visibilty and impact rates to launch travel advice, security recommendations or operative changes.

The implemented Digital Signage circuit includes on board displays and medium and large format displays, placed in those areas with higher influx and in different terminals. Besides, interactive kiosks have been installed in the main stations to show intermodal information, thoush which travelers can perfom help searches to place destinations or services of interest.

DENEVA is installed as a communication channel of high penetration wich looks out for the passengers’ travel experience. This renewed information system not only entertains users in metro stations and lines, but it also enables to reduce the waiting perception. In also constitutes itself as akey mean to broadcast any incident or emergency fot the efficient management of the stations and the Smart City, since it provides the possibility to receive date from the different information sources in a simple way.

ICON Multimedia has participated in the panel discussion about “The Shop of the future” organized by Junta de Castilla y León.

Juan Carlos Martín, Sales Manager of ICON Multimedia has introduced the Smart Retail by showing how Digital Signage can help to increase sales and create a new experience at the point of sales.

Deneva at Philips European Roadshow 2018

Deneva has been attended at the Philips European Roadshow 2018. The event took place at NH Collection Eurobuilding (Madrid) thanks to Philips Professional Display Solutions.

The Lift & Learn powered by DENEVA has been introduced at the roadshow. It shows relevant information about the products when customers lift the article from the shop shelf. It is possible to show characteristics and even more, make comparisons between products just by holding it in customer’s hands.

Also, it had been introduced the customer satisfaction surveys. As a result, it is now easier to know the opinion of users in an attactive way and, therefore, it is easier to adapt the marketing strategy based on Big Data.

In addition, DENEVA also release it ominichannel communication solution for Smart Cities at the service of users of stations, airports and transport.

ICON Multimedia promotes Digital Signage for Smart Stations at Innotrans 2018

ICON Multimedia will be at Innotrans 2018 (Hall 22/Booth 704), the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, where it will show its digital signage solution DENEVA focused on promoting the “smart station”. From September 18 to 21 of 2018, everyone that visit ICON Multimedia booth at Innotrans will discovered a renewed Digital Signage platform designed not only for users as travelers, but also as potential customers of services around stations or airports.

ICON Multimedia is focused on DENEVA to promote the digital transformation of the railway industry by incorporating Digital Signage to transform the new stations into connected centers.

DENEVA improve the quality of the service and the citizen information as well as it increases the security. The software includes wayfinding systems, measurement fo audiences that allow to realice specific advertising campaign, or even more, the measurement of the traveler’s experience base don their emotions. DENEVA software also allows the use of these systems by third-party companies, reducing cost of public infrastructures, and improving the return of investment obtained.

DENEVA Passenger Information System is a reference in the main Spanish high-speed stations, such as Madrid, Málaga or Valencia, but also in Algeria, Metro Medellín or Metro Santiago. It shows all type of warnings in real time, routes, the waiting time, social networks and other entertainment information. DENEVA becomes an innovative approach to the development of Smart Cities.

InnoTrans will be held at Messe Berlin from September 18 to 21 September.

ICON Multimedia receives ISO 15288 – Systems and software engineering: System life cycle processes

ICON Multimedia adapts its management system and software development to the new requirements of the latest version 2015, thank to ISO 15288 certification (Systems and software engineering: System life cycle processes). This credential can indirectly increase customer satisfaction through the application develpment of content management software and interactivity, under .net platform and other similar technologies that are now certificated. This brings along with it a bigger operational efficiency and profitability.

ICON Multimedia already has another two certifications: ISO 9001_about Systems Quality Management and ISO 27001 about Information Security Management that enables assurance, confidentiality and integrity of data.

Diego Giménez, ICON Multimedia’s Head of Quality, says: “The standars implementation improves the corporate structure and the communication. It helps us to set up a quality system in order to optimize the decision-making process, ensure our customers satisfaction and it internationally builds up the image of the company.”

 

ICON Multimedia supports the Professional Training to promote the employability

ICON Multimedia supports the Professional Training as “a tool to facilitate labor insertion and motivate the students”. This is what Enrique Hornos, Managing Director of ICON Multimedia and Vanesa Burgos, CIFP Camino de la Miranda tutor have said during the conference about Professional Training celebrated  this morning at the Palencia Chamber of Commerce .

Two trainees from Camino de la Miranda has been working at ICON Multimedia since last April, thanks to the support of ‘Dualiza’ promoted by Fundación Bankia. The financial institution supports the Project ‘ Local Abilities Development for Education, Business Intelligente and CRM implementation’ hosted by Camino de la Miranda. In this way, ICON Multimedia offers the students the opportunity to carry out a paid-grant and at the same time, learning in a real work context.

The common project between ICON Multimedia and Camino de la Miranda was one of the 36 national initiatives within the Bankia ‘Dualiza’ call, who allocated almost 400,000 euros to the total of projects. In Castilla y León only three candidatures were selected. ICON Multimedia’s project was selected among almost 300 presented. The maximum allocation of each one is 20,000 euros in order to guarantee quality in terms of innovation.
